Mount Elgon National Park was named after Mountain Elgon, the largest extinct Volcano in the world and is situated on the borders of both Uganda and Kenya almost 140 km from Lake Victoria occupying a surface area of 1,110 km2 in Uganda and 169 km2 in Kenya. The park is endowed with the Sipi waterfalls, gorges, hot springs, water springs, waterfalls, peaks and the caves which include the Kitum, Chepnyl, and Mackingeny.

Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s National Park situated on an area of 260 km2 in the Western region of Uganda in Kiruhura district about 240 kilometers from Kampala and only 30 Kilometers from Mbarara, Uganda. It houses five Lakes which includes the Lake Mburo and it is where you will have a clear spot of the Impalas, Antelopes, Elands as well the many herds of Buffalos and Zebras in Uganda

Murchison Falls National Park sits is Uganda’s National Park located in the Northwestern on the shores of Lake Albert where River Nile and Lake Victoria surges through a narrow gap on top of a massive drop. The Park occupies an area of 3,893 km2 and houses mainly the Hippos and Elephants with a number of Chimpanzees in the Kaniyo Pabidi Mahogany Forest, Shoebill Storks on Lake Albert Delta and Fishing in Karuma Falls

Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in the heart of the Great Western Rift Valley and it is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. It is the home of the famous tree-climbing lion as well as the Uganda Kob, other antelope species, elephant, baboons, hippos, buffalo, and chimpanzees. Over 600 species of birds have been recorded, making the park a magnet for bird watchers.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park notable for the Bwindi Gorillas, is located in southwestern Uganda in Buhoma, Kanungu District occupying an area of 331km2 of both Montane and Lowland Forest. The park is part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and located on the edges of the Albertine Rift at elevations ranging from 1,160 to 2,607 meters and along the Democratic Republic of Congo border near the Virunga National Park.
