This 2-day safari will take you to one of the smallest National Parks in Uganda– Lake Mburo National Park located approximately 240km (by road) west of Kampala; The trip to the Park is a 4-hour drive and the park is home to over 68 mammal species which includes buffaloes, bush pigs, leopards, and zebras as well as various bird species. It is famous for having large numbers of Zebras.

2 Days Wildlife Safari at Lake Mburo National Park

This two days’ safari to Lake Mburo National Park, take only 4 hours’ drive and it is the most rewarding safari you will experience. The park is well known because of the large numbers of Zebras grazing in the park. Some of the activities done in Lake Mburo national park include wildlife viewing, bird watching, boat ride, horse riding, and guided nature walks. Some of the wildlife found in Lake Mburo National Park include zebras, impalas, elands, giraffes, topi, buffaloes, and water-buck among others.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

Pick up from the Hotel or Entebbe international airport by our company guide/driver for transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Drive to south-western Uganda where the park is located with a beautiful view of banana plantation and you will stop at the Uganda Equator where you can involve in the water experiment and take photographs. Upon arrival at the park, drive to your lodge, check-in, and have lunch. After lunch head for 2 hours’ boat cruise where you will view different bird species and mammals.  Do a late-game drive, after your boat cruise in search of zebras, topis, buffalo, eland, impala, water hogs, waterbucks, etc. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Morning game drive & departure

Start a day with a morning cup of coffee and then you will drive to Lake Mburo Rwonyo Park Headquarters which in most cases has a good chance of seeing hyenas, hippos walking back to the water, buffalos, zebras, impalas, and topi. After a game drive heads back to the lodge and check-out.   Drive back to Kampala through a magnificent area with a visit to drum makers in Mpabire Village, the gardens, crafts shops, and fruit markets. Arrival in Kampala will be in the evening hours, you will be driven to the Entebbe international airport for your flight or to the hotel.
