3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Wildlife Safari


This 3 days’ safari takes you to the most populated wildlife park Queen Elizabeth national park where you will find the wonders of wildlife and tree climbing lions found in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. You will enjoy wildlife viewing from kasenyi tracks, boat cruise along the kazinga channel, and tree climbing lions from the Ishasha sector. Some of the common wildlife found in Queen Elizabeth national park include lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, water-buck, hyenas, Uganda kobs, and mongoose among others.

Day 1

Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Pick up from your hotel or Entebbe international airport for transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Our company guide /driver will meet you and exchange words of greetings and names before driving off to Queen Elizabeth national park, you will embark on the journey via Kampala- Masaka high way, you will make a stopover at the Uganda equator for a mini stretch and refreshments and then take pictures. Proceed with the journey to Mbarara town for lunch and then head straight to the park and check in at your reserved hotel.

Accommodation option; Mweya safari lodge [luxury], Twin Lake safari lodge [midrange], Engiri Game lodge [budget]

Duration: 6-7 hours’ drive

Day 2

Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park

Leave the lodge at 6:30 am and head for the game drive that will take place along the kasenyi tracks as you search for the wild animals. Expect to encounter these wild animals such as the lions, Cape Buffalos, African Elephants, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Spotted hyenas, Mangoose, kobs among others. Return back to the lodge to take your actual delicious breakfast meal as you relax around and enjoy the silent environment.

After lunch, you will head for 2 pm exciting boat cruise at the kazinga channel, during the ride you will see various animals that lives in and around the water body plus the various birdlife along this spot. You will see plenty of crocodiles, hippos, African elephants and buffaloes among others.  Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Depart from Queen Elizabeth to Kampala.

Rise up early enough and engage in yet another game drive through the Ishasha sector where you will see more wildlife including the tree-climbing lions. Return to the lodge and have late breakfast, take your packed lunch and drive back to Kampala.  Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the hotel or Entebbe international airport to catch up with your flight back home.
